Bellapais Monastery Village - an overview
With spectacular views of Kyrenia coastline and Five Finger Mountains, it’s hard not to feel the surrounding peace and tranquillity. The ambience is very much influenced by the historic Bellapais village and the 13th century Abbey, all of which is within a short walk uphill from the hotel. The child free policy means this hotel is particularly suitable for couples, and at the same time within close proximity to the bustling town of Kyrenia.
Located on different ground levels of the hotel complex, the comfortable standard villas are spacious and feature private verandas, en-suite facilities, air-conditioning, hairdryer, safety deposit box, mini-bar, satellite TV, telephone and kettle. All are open plan split-levelled, with twin bedded rooms on the first floor, and lounge area with en-suite shower on the ground floor.
Ground and first floor hotel rooms share similar facilities and include a private balcony or terrace. Most rooms enjoy views of Kyrenia and the coastline.
There are two outdoor freshwater swimming pools, alfresco a la carte restaurant, pool bar, lounge bar, sauna, steam room, massage service. A courtesy bus service to Kyrenia runs three times a day and guests have complimentary use of facilities at the Oscars Resort Hotel.
